A little about this site...
TUR has had a variety of sites throughout it's history -- most of which were created for TUR on battle.net. We have here a newly formated site designed and built to accomodate TUR as it is today. This "newest" site is also becoming quite old as it continues to remain our primary information resource for TUR on the internet. Old does not mean out-of-date, however. It is continuously being revised and updated. Now, the only off-site feature is the forum. The TUR Discussion Forum which is TUR's main forum for communication and doubles as our Ultima Online forum. We like the simplicity of our forum and do not seperate them into dozens of categories using complex forum features. We do this in order to keep it simple for members. It is hosted by Network54. The TUR Gallery is a place where you may send in your real-life pictures for the Photoalbum or send in profiles where you can list information about yourself or your character(s). It also hosts a vast screenshot library. It used to be hosted by Angelfire, but has now been completely rebuilt at http://turgallery.theunruled.com. Sometimes while surfing, you might end up on a mirror site for either DAoC or UO when you did not intend to, as both sites share some pages for displaying information when the information is not unique to one game or the other in regards to TUR. If this happens, when you're done looking at the page, use the "Back" button to get back to the TUR site you were on. If this isn't possible, go back to theunruled.com and start over on the correct site. This site was made using HTML, JavaScript, CGI, and PHP. It's updated about every other day so there's always something new to see. This site is not really optimized for any browser. Some features such as scriptlets might not function properly on non Internet Explorer browsers or old, old browsers. Most features should otherwise work on any browser you use. Many of this site's pages have music on them. If you have another program running (such as Ultima Online) that hogs the sound card, you probably won't be able to fully view this site in all of it's midi glory. A common symptom of this is only hearing the drums or beat of a midi and no actual notes. Thanks for checking us out. If you have any questions or comments about TUR or this site, please e-mail Outy.
