Plague beast lords are currently roaming swamps all over the land. To get a prized mutation core, you must paralyze the squishy monster to harden it's slimey parts into a managable form. Then, use a bladed item to cut it open(Click on the bladed item, then target the beast). Now, you must work quickly, for once the beast has been cut open, it will only live for so long.

Plague Beast Lord Anatomy

This is what the overall appearance of a beast lord's insides looks like. Certain aspects of it will be slightly rearranged or different for each beast lord.

This is an iron maiden organ. They can carry innards(Colored brain).

This is a blue organ. They can carry innards(Colored brain).

This is a bubbly organ. They can carry innards(Colored brain).

This is the gland casing. They hold a diseased gland and the squid-looking section can carry innards(Colored brain).

This is the nerve center. It holds the mutation core(Icey brain).

How to operate

To operate, you'll need scissors, bandages, and a healthy gland from a regular plague beast(Which is found as loot). Use your scissors to cut open the various organs. If you see any blood, use bandages, and target the blood immediately to prolong the beasts life. If you don't bandage the blood, it will bleed to death.

Start with the iron maidens. They will not bleed unless there are innards inside and you remove them. If you find innards, place them on one of the colored plates of the nerve center. The second you remove innards from any organ, the organ will begin to bleed and qill require bandaging.

Next, cut open the blue organs. They will either start bleeding right away, or have innards in them.

Note the color of the organ you're working on. You'll need to cut all of the veins leading to the organ that don't match it's color. Once you've have done that, cut open the organ itself.	If there are innards inside, place them on the right tray. If not, bandage it up and move on.

Once you've finished with the organs, it's time to work on the gland casing. Cut it open and replace that diseased gland with a healthy gland(Plague Beast loot).	The healthy gland's purple color will then flow to the squid-looking thing, turning it purple too. Cut it open to get your last innards. You don't need to do this if you've already gotten your 4 colors of innards from the organs. The innards are all you need to open up the nerve center, so place those colored brains as soon as you get them.

Place all of the innards on their trays and cut open the nerve center to remove the mutation core.	Make sure to place them exactly in their respective trays, otherwise it won't work. Above are a couple of incorrectly-placed innards.

Here is the finished product once all tasks have been completed. Just cut the mutation core out with your scissors and the beast will disolve, leaving you with the core however.
