The first knight in the holy order of the angelic knights. Tyrael belonged to the highest order of choir of angels,known as the Seraphim;and also of the brethren of the azure hand of God. Tyrael was the lead archangel in the first war led against the "accuser",and his vile forces consisting of a 3rd of heavens angels who had decided to follow him. Repsonsible for many victories,and glorious conquests over the accuser,Tyrael rose high in the ranks of the angels, and was an essential tool in the enforcement of God's commandments. Not long after the war had been waged,and the "dark one" sent to his "kingdom" of hell, his minions began to come forth to tempt and attack the followers of God on earth. Not long had passed before a new war seemed inevitable. The angels in heaven were divided in this matter feeling that mankind had not proven their worth to the love of God. Tyrael knew this was not a "legitimate" reason for discussion,as all of God's creations deserve his love. Inevitably, a new war broke out, Hell had its own "Knights" consisting of Demons,and men who had lost their way or sold their souls for favors. This time hell, with the aid of many humans;came at heaven with a fury rivaling God's own. Their sole purpose: To have their generals lead the hellish army to the heavenly gates,.........and burn them down! The "second War" as it came to be called, Did not start well. Many of the angelic orders began to bicker,and fight amongst themselves. They did not want to fight and die over what they felt was a lost cause such as mankind. Tyrael, fought to hold order in heaven,and would not tolerate such insolence of his angels. Soon many angels defected to Lucifer's cause....This was a devastating blow to heaven. On the eve of a key battle in the 2nd war, a trusted and long time friend,and advisor of Tyrael's named Hyrayiel was caught by Tyrael consorting with a spy of hell. Out raged by his long time friends betrayal, Tyrael confronted him. There was a great arguement between the two. Hyrayiel pleaded to Tyrael that this was not a just cause,and to please join them. Tyrael declared God's law infallible! but could not bring himself to turn his friend over to punishment. That night in his home Tyrael's brother Razaelbegged him to turn him in. Tyrael could not do it. On the day of the battle hell dealt heaven a crushing blow, because of the information Hyrayiel had provided Lucifer with. During the battle Hyrayiel,and Tyrael met and fought, like brothers...tears filled each others eyes blow after blow. Tyrael being the superior knight,and warrior won the advantage over Hyrayiel, but once again could not bring himself to kill him. After the battle Tyrael was summoned to God's kingdom, where he was placed on trial in the hall of angels. God more saddened then angry was truly disappointed with Tyrael's deeds, but understood his mercy. However failing to do his duties in this very dire time, when hell was actually posing a risk to heaven and many of heavens angels once again had left to join Lucifer.Tyrael was stripped of his postion,and his sword of fire, and cast out of heaven, and his postion was passed unto Gabriel. God, however seeing the beginnings of a new war starting in his new world,and Lucifers influence upon the 3rd race. Tyrael, along with his brother Razael, was charged to walk this land for eternity battling against the evil embrace of hell's temptations until perhaps one day he will be re-admitted into heavens gates.So now Tyrael walks the lands, ever searching for other fallen angels to help him battle the forces of the dark one. Tyrael will never know peace, he will know eternal loneliness.Now a former shadow of his former glory, he is but a wraith condmened to for ever fight the evil forces that plague the land.
