The hallowed Festival of Spirits! From ancient times through today, it has been spoken of in low whispers and reverent tones. Fortune did indeed favor some of our ancestors, and some of those at past festivals quietly reflected on the ghosts of loved ones now lost. But Fate can also be cruel, and other generations found themselves doomed at the grip of rotting, undead flesh!
Heed these words, faithful ones! Britannian elders still say that to go into the night during the festival is dangerous, and to go out alone would mean certain death! You must waste no time in joining us at the new Skara Brae Community Center in Trammel on the Great Lakes shard at the appointed time!

All citizens of Britannia are invited to join us in celebrating the Festival of Spirits with an in-game social gathering this Wednesday, October 30th, 2002, at 6:00pm CST (October 31st, 2002, at 12:00am GMT/UTC) at the Community Center. Players from all shards will be in attendance, as will some of the developers of Ultima Online! Rumors persist about a costume contest, so be prepared to dress your scariest (or funniest)!
The Community Center is located just southwest of the nearby Skara Brae Moongate (betwixt that Moongate and the Bank of Skara Brae), at the following coordinates:

We ask that everyone please be courteous to all attendees, and do not spam text, play music, cast any spells, or bring pets (the Stablemaster is one building to the West of the Community Center) while in the area. A Game Master will be on hand to assist in overseeing the event; disruption of the activities will not be tolerated.
